Gnomes everywhere will soon fear our awesome punting prowess! Welcome to the Gnome Punting League (GPL) home page. For those of you that are new to the GPL, you should know a little about what it means to be a member of the GPL. We are a guild that is dedicated to helping our members in the world, be it running instances, helping with quests or, getting rid of allies that are camping you. There is a level of unity that we all share in being a member of the GPL. It is up to all members to do their part to make this guild great. As a new member to the GPL you will have a code that you must follow. You are not a single player anymore, all of your actions also impact the other members of the guild and how the guild is seen by other players of the world. Please always keep this in mind when you interact with people in the world. Begging for gold, items, or stealing in any way is not a part of being a member of the GPL. When you become a member of the GPL you also must have a sense of pride for yourself and the guild as well. Should you not have these qualities then you do not have what it takes to be a GPL member. If you have any questions about the guild or the game please look to a person that is one rank higher than you first, then go higher if that person cannot help you. In the event that you need help with an instance, quest, or just leveling please try to get members around your level to help you before you ask a high level member to help you. Also, please remember though, that we all want to help each other, but at times people want to work on their own characters also. So please keep this in mind when asking high level characters for help. Ranks and Duties Guild Master

Guild Bank Usage
Please do not deposit grey quality items or white quality armor/weapons. Only items that you can use are to be taken out of the Guild Bank. No member may take items out to sell, any member caught doing this will be demoted or removed from the Guild. This also includes items that you wish to give to a friend that is not in the Guild. In the event that the Guild Bank becomes full, the GM will sell some items and deposit all of the profits from those sales into the Guild Bank.
Raid Laws
If a raid time is set all members must be ready at the invite time for the raid. No running to the bank for potions, scrolls, ect. This is to keep raids as short as possible, no one wants to spend two hours waiting for everyone to get ready. Please have everything ready and be outside the instance at the invite time. All rolls will be greed rolls unless the item is better than the one you are using. If the item is better you must ask if it is alright to roll need. Any member who does not follow this system will be removed from the raid group and will face demotion or removal from the Guild. If there is a particular item you are looking for you must inform the raid before they go into the instance. If a member does not show up for an event that they are signed up for they will not be able to take part in the next two guild raids.
Guild Battleground Laws
All guild members must be level 19, 29, 39, 49, 59, 69, 79, or 80 in order to take part in guild battle ground raids. You must be ready to go at the invite time, no running back to the bank at the last second to get items. If a Guild member is signed up for the event and does not show up, and does not give notice that they will be absent, the Guild member will not be able to take part in the next two guild battleground raids. Any Guild member caught AFK in a battleground without notifing the event leader will be demoted or removed from the Guild. If a Guild member notifies the event leader that they will be AFK, the Guild member must state why they were AFK once the battle has finished. If the reason is a 'Good' reason, ie. 'The phone rang' or 'My Parent(s) needed me to do something', the Guild member will not be demoted or removed from the Guild; however, if you went AFK to call someone else or something else that could have waited five minutes, you will probably be demoted or possibly be removed.
Guild Demotion
In the event that a Guild member has been charged with breaking a Guild law the member will be mailed a letter from the GM. It will explain the law that the member broke, and will inform the member if they are to be demoted or removed from the guild. Guild members may also be demoted for their conduct (spamming the Guild channel, begging for gold, abusing members for instance runs and quest help, etc.)
Inactivity
If you are going to be away from the game please let the GM know by mailing a message through the in-game system. If you are only going to be gone for one or two weeks you do not need to mail the GM. If you are going to be away for 3 or more weeks you must mail the GM informing him of your absence. If you fail to mail the GM you WILL be removed from the guild if you are absent for one month.
Leaving the Guild
Should a Guild member wish to leave the Guild, and then decides to return at a later date the ex-member will be allowed to rejoin, but they will have to earn their rank back. They will start at Private and mist work their way back up to whatever their previous rank was. This counts for time spent in the Guild as well. The time will be reset, no matter how long the person was in the Guild before.
Twinks/Alts
Any Guild member with a rank of Captain or higher may have a Twink/Alt in the guild, with the rank of Twink. This Twink/Alt will not be able to increase rank, but will have the same privileges as a Captain. Privates may not have a Twink/Alt in the Guild.
